About Me

I have been working in higher education for nearly 30 years, with most of that time serving as both faculty and administration. As the former president of the Learning Assistance Association of New England (LAANE), an associate professor of English, and a champion for undergraduate research, I've witnessed more changes in higher education in the past ten years than in all of my years combined. Some of that transformation has been in the lack of acknowledgment of mental health issues in the workplace. My sabbatical work strives to educate readers on the after-effects in high-stress environments, especially in settings with minimal support.
